About Forti Nova

From Specification
To Warranty.

Forti Nova provides specialist liquid waterproofing and protective coating systems for commercial and industrial buildings across the UK.

Working directly with Liquid Rubber Europe and Prokol, we support projects from initial assessment and technical specification through controlled application, inspection and manufacturer-backed warranty procedures.

Our Philosophy

The Right Solution Starts
With Understanding The Problem.

What began through practical experience within roofing, construction and refurbishment has evolved into a business built around a single principle: assess first, specify second, deliver third.

Within construction, products are too often selected before structures are understood. Systems are specified before objectives are clarified. Building owners are pushed towards replacement before refurbishment options are properly explored. Forti Nova was established to challenge that approach.

Through direct manufacturer partnerships with Liquid Rubber Europe and Prokol, we bring technical input, application oversight and warranty governance into the assessment, specification and delivery of every commercial coating project we touch — protecting assets instead of replacing them.

"Whether extending the life of an existing roof, restoring a leaking gutter or protecting an industrial substrate from failure — our objective remains the same. To deliver solutions that hold for decades, not seasons."

The Forti Nova Principle
Our Approach

A Different Way Of Working.

Construction solutions should be driven by performance, not product preference. Our role is to sit between manufacturers, contractors, specifiers and building owners — helping each party make informed decisions based on technical requirements, project objectives and long‑term asset performance.

01
Assess

Read the asset before the spec sheet.

Substrate, moisture, drainage, movement, detailing, access and existing coatings are reviewed before any system is proposed. Mis‑specification is the single biggest cause of premature coating failure — we close that loop before work starts.

  • Moisture mapping
  • Substrate investigation
  • Failure‑mode identification
  • Access & constraint review
02
Specify

Engineer to the asset, not the catalogue.

Using assessment data, we produce a written system build‑up — primers, reinforcement, detailing sequences and application controls — aligned to manufacturer technical review, BS 8102, BS EN 13501 and the project's compliance footprint.

  • System specification
  • Manufacturer alignment
  • Compliance documentation
  • Preparation sequence
03
Deliver

Controlled application. Audited warranty.

Works are completed against the agreed specification by trained or approved applicators. Environmental conditions, materials and application milestones are recorded throughout. Manufacturer‑backed warranty documentation is issued where specified requirements have been met.

  • Approved application
  • Milestone recording
  • Inspection sign‑off
  • Warranty documentation

Three stages. One auditable record. That is the Forti Nova process.

Our Heritage

Field-Built Heritage.
Specification-Led Today.

Forti Nova's roots are practical. Our heritage began in 2011 as a self-employed commercial roofing contractor — working for care home chains, NHS buildings, sales and letting agents, then new-build construction. At peak we employed 21 qualified roofers.

In 2020 we founded our trade counter, becoming known for specialist roofing liquids and EPDM — and supplying Liquid Rubber HBS200 to some of the UK's largest builders' merchants including Selco, Howarth Timber, Jewson, MKM, NBP, SBD and Quay.

We then expanded our manufacturer partnerships to two. Adding Prokol — whose vast UK and global experience opened commercial cladding refurbishment, hot spray, 35-year flat roof liquids, industrial flooring and passive fire protection — gave us a second specialist manufacturer family. Combined in-house experience exceeds 100 years, augmented by over 90 years of manufacturer heritage (Prokol 1967, Liquid Rubber 1991).

    Prokol Established

Dutch manufacturer of elastomeric, polyurea and reaction-to-fire classified protective coatings — over five decades of formulation and application heritage behind the Profix, Monoseal, TopSpray35, Rocathaan and FireGuard systems.

  2. 1991

    Liquid Rubber Europe Founded

Pioneers of cold-applied, seamless liquid-applied waterproofing membranes. Three decades of chemistry and application engineering behind BelowGrade, HBS200 and SprayGrade.

    Our Roofing Heritage Begins

Founded as a self-employed commercial roofing contractor — working for care home chains, NHS buildings, sales and letting agents, then expanding into new-build construction. At peak we employed 21 qualified roofers. That field experience still drives how we specify today.

  4. 2020

    Trade Counter & Specialist Supply

We founded our trade counter, quickly becoming known as the place to buy specialist roofing liquids and EPDM membranes. It became our route into merchant supply — Liquid Rubber HBS200 supplied to some of the UK's largest builders' merchants including Selco, Howarth Timber, Jewson, MKM, NBP, SBD, Quay and several others.

    Two Manufacturer Families

We have expanded our manufacturer partnerships to two. Prokol's vast UK and global experience opened capability in commercial cladding refurbishment, hot spray, 35-year flat roof liquids, industrial flooring and passive fire protection. Their technical director, based in Essex, is always available when needed. Combined in-house experience now exceeds 100 years.

We Talk To The People
Who Make The Systems.

We work directly — not via distributors — with two leading European manufacturers. The chemists, technical directors and applications engineers behind every membrane are a phone call away. That close, line-of-manufacture partnership is extended directly to our clients and end users — pulling technical input, application oversight and warranty governance into every specification.

What We Stand For

Four Commitments We Refuse To Compromise.

We would rather be wrong in private than confident in public. These four commitments keep us specialist-first, not sales-first.

01
Diagnosis precedes specification

Understand Before Proposing

Read the asset before you name the system. A system chosen before an objective is clarified is a system nobody asked for.

02
Verbal assurance is not a specification

Specification In Writing

Every build-up, primer, reinforcement and detailing sequence is documented. No missing primers, no silent substitutions, no verbal guarantees.

03
Conditional language is the standard

Warranties Are Earned, Not Implied

Manufacturer-backed warranty is issued only where specified requirements have been met. We make that conditional language the standard, not a footnote.

04
A right specification still fails in the wrong hands

Application Is The Test

Approved applicators, controlled routes, recorded milestones. The specification does not end at the page — it ends at the roof.

In Plain Terms

Questions, Answered Directly.

A condensed reference for clients, specifiers and procurement teams considering Forti Nova as their commercial coating partner.

Forti Nova is a specification-led commercial coating solutions group. Through direct manufacturer partnerships with Liquid Rubber Europe and Prokol, we assess assets, specify written system build-ups, govern application routes and coordinate manufacturer-backed warranty documentation for commercial and industrial waterproofing, refurbishment and protective coating projects across the UK.

Forti Nova operates from Unit 1-2, Bridgewater Business Park, Gladstone Street, Blackburn, Lancashire, BB1 3DL. From this base we support commercial coating projects nationwide through a network of approved applicators and manufacturer-aligned technical input.

Our heritage began in 2011 as a self-employed commercial roofing contractor — working for care home chains, NHS buildings, sales and letting agents, then new-build construction, employing up to 21 qualified roofers at peak. In 2020 we founded our trade counter, becoming known for specialist roofing liquids and EPDM, and supplying Liquid Rubber HBS200 to some of the UK's largest builders' merchants including Selco, Howarth Timber, Jewson, MKM, NBP, SBD, Quay and others. We then expanded our manufacturer partnerships to two — adding Prokol, whose vast UK and global experience opened capability in commercial cladding refurbishment, hot spray, 35-year flat roof liquids, industrial flooring and passive fire protection. Combined in-house experience now exceeds 100 years.

We work directly — not via distributors — with Liquid Rubber Europe (founded 1991, cold-applied waterproofing membranes including BelowGrade, HBS200 and SprayGrade) and Prokol (founded 1967, elastomeric, polyurea and reaction-to-fire classified protective coatings including Profix, Monoseal, TopSpray35, Rocathaan HotSpray and FireGuard Pro). We talk directly to the chemists, technical directors and applications engineers behind every system.

Our process follows three stages: Assess, Specify, Deliver. We assess substrate, moisture, drainage, movement, detailing and access before any system is proposed. We then issue a written specification aligned to manufacturer technical review and relevant standards (BS 8102, BS EN 13501). Application is completed by trained or approved applicators with milestone recording, followed by inspection and manufacturer-backed warranty review.

Yes — where specified requirements have been met. Manufacturer-backed warranty documentation is issued following application sign-off, typically ranging from 15 to 50 years on qualifying installations. Warranty is conditional on the specific system, substrate, preparation and controlled application route — it is documented project by project, not assumed as a blanket inclusion.

We support facilities management, local authorities, healthcare, schools, universities, industrial buildings, warehousing and logistics, retail parks, housing associations, main contractors and surveyors and specifiers. The assessment-first approach is applied identically across every sector — the specification adapts; the methodology does not.

Both. The majority of our commercial coating work is refurbishment and asset life extension — restoring existing roofs, gutters, cladding and below-ground structures without strip-out — but the same systems are engineered for new-build specification, particularly below-grade tanking, fire protection classification and traffic-rated deck waterproofing.

Forti Nova is a specification and project delivery specialist. We govern the specification, manufacturer technical alignment and application route, working through approved and trained applicators to deliver against that specification. The independence between specification, supply and application is what protects the asset and the warranty.
