Which System Is Right for Your Project?
System selection depends on substrate type, exposure conditions, traffic classification and programme requirements. The following covers the most common decision points — use the System Selector tool for a guided recommendation.
New build or refurbishment below ground?
BelowGrade liquid rubber is the specified choice for new-build and remedial below-ground waterproofing — buried structures, foundations, retaining walls.
Flat roof or gutter refurbishment on an existing building?
HBS200 for detail work and gutters; SprayGrade for large commercial flat roof overlays where programme speed is critical.
Car park, walkway or traffic-bearing deck?
Rocathaan HotSpray PA 260-FR for traffic-rated polyurea deck waterproofing. System must be confirmed with manufacturer for traffic classification.
Metal roof or cladding requiring UV-stable protection?
TopSpray35 aliphatic topcoat — substrate condition, preparation and primer must be confirmed prior to specification.
Fire-rated requirement on structural steel or interior surfaces?
FireGuard Pro 200 — reaction-to-fire classified coating. Always consult the PDS and applicable fire safety regulation for your jurisdiction.
Active leak or emergency repair required?
Profix MS Hybrid Polymer sealant works under water and is suitable for immediate emergency leak control and detailing.
System Supply Is Not Enough
Most coating failures are not product failures — they are specification, preparation or installation failures. Forti Nova manages the full project lifecycle: survey, specification, installation and documentation.
Manufacturer-Authorised Supply
Direct relationship with Liquid Rubber and Prokol manufacturers. Every system supplied with full technical backing and documented compliance.
Pre-Installation Survey Support
Substrate assessment, moisture testing and condition reporting before specification is confirmed — not after application has failed.
Trained & Vetted Applicators
Installation by certified performance partners trained on the specific system. Not general contractors applying unfamiliar products.
Post-Installation Documentation
Application records, photographic evidence and warranty documentation issued on completion of qualifying projects.
Where These Systems Are Specified
Liquid Rubber and Prokol systems are specified across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and local authority projects throughout the UK. Common application environments include flat roof refurbishment, below-ground new-build waterproofing, car park deck protection, industrial cladding, and fire-compliance coatings on structural steelwork.
Each application requires a different system chemistry. A car park deck requires traffic-rated polyurea chemistry. A below-ground retaining structure requires a fully-bonded elastomeric membrane with demonstrated hydrostatic resistance. A metal roof refurbishment requires UV-stable aliphatic chemistry with substrate-specific primer confirmation. Forti Nova identifies the correct system — not the most available product.
