Certified Applicator Network

Approved Applicators.
System Certified.

Forti Nova operates a UK-wide network of certified contractors approved to install Liquid Rubber and Prokol waterproofing, cladding refurbishment, fire protection and industrial flooring systems. Every applicator in our network has completed hands-on manufacturer-standard training and is backed by Forti Nova's technical team throughout each project.

What Approved Applicators Receive

Forti Nova does not simply train contractors and walk away. Approved applicators are integrated into our commercial delivery model — receiving project referrals, specification support, warranty management and ongoing technical backing throughout every installation.

Project Referrals

We manage enquiry intake from building owners, facilities managers and main contractors across the UK. Approved applicators receive project referrals matched to their system certifications, capacity and location.

Technical Specification Support

Pre-project substrate assessment, system specification, detailing configuration reviews and moisture testing guidance. Our technical team is available throughout the project lifecycle — not just during training.

Manufacturer-Backed Warranty Management

Where specifications qualify, Forti Nova manages warranty documentation, inspection coordination and compliance confirmation with Liquid Rubber and Prokol. Approved applicators deliver; we manage the paperwork.

System Certification

Certification is issued per system — not as a blanket approval. This means your credentials clearly communicate what you are qualified to install, increasing specifier and client confidence in your work.

Commercial Sector Access

Access to projects across healthcare, education, industrial, local authority, logistics and main contractor sectors — markets that require verified credentials and specification documentation before awarding contracts.

Ongoing CPD & Updates

Manufacturer system updates, new product introductions, specification changes and installation guidance are communicated directly to the network. You stay current without having to chase the manufacturers yourself.

System Certifications

Eligibility

What We Look For

We work with established contractors who are serious about quality installation and want to grow into the commercial specification market. We do not require you to hold existing product experience — that is what training is for.

Essential Requirements

  • Established roofing, waterproofing or protective coating contracting business
  • Public liability insurance (minimum £2m) and appropriate trade certifications
  • Commitment to complete hands-on product training at our Blackburn facility
  • Quality-focused installation approach — substrate preparation matters
  • Willingness to follow manufacturer specification and detailing requirements on every project

Desirable Background

  • Existing commercial roofing, flat roofing or waterproofing contracting experience
  • Spray application equipment (or willingness to invest — we can advise on procurement)
  • Experience working on occupied buildings and live commercial sites
  • Understanding of moisture testing and substrate assessment
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations and fire safety requirements
  • Track record of delivering quality installations with client references
Certification Pathway

How Certification Works

The pathway from enquiry to approved applicator status is straightforward. Most contractors complete initial certification within a few weeks of first contact.

01

Initial Conversation

Contact us by phone or email. We'll discuss your business, the systems you're interested in, your existing experience and the training pathway. No obligation.

02

Training Attendance

Complete hands-on product training at our Blackburn facility. Covering application technique, substrate preparation, detailing and quality control to manufacturer standards.

03

Approval & Onboarding

Following training, we confirm your approved applicator status for the systems completed. You're added to the Forti Nova network and briefed on project referral and technical support processes.

04

Delivering Projects

We coordinate enquiries, provide specification support and manage warranty documentation. You install to specification with our technical team available throughout each project.

Why Specifiers and Building Owners Request Forti Nova Approved Applicators

When a main contractor, facilities manager or surveyor specifies a Liquid Rubber or Prokol system through Forti Nova, they are not simply ordering materials — they are procuring a complete installation service with documented technical accountability. That means the applicator carrying out the work must be certified by Forti Nova to install that specific system to manufacturer standards.

This distinction matters for warranty. Manufacturer-backed warranties are only available where installation has been carried out by a Forti Nova approved applicator in compliance with the specified system build-up, substrate preparation requirements and quality control protocol. A non-approved installer cannot access these warranties on behalf of the client.

For contractors, this is the commercial opportunity. Sectors such as healthcare, education, local authorities and regulated industrial facilities increasingly require third-party certified installation documentation before awarding contracts. Forti Nova approved applicator status provides that credential — for each system you are certified to install.

If you are a roofing contractor looking to move into liquid waterproofing, a waterproofing contractor looking to expand into polyurea systems, or a cladding contractor looking to offer complete refurbishment packages including protective topcoats — the Forti Nova approved applicator programme is the structured route to market.
