Training, Demos &
Approved Applicator
Certification
Hands-on product training at our Blackburn facility — open to contractors, installation teams, companies wanting to see systems demonstrated, merchants and specifiers. No prerequisites. If you want to understand these systems properly, come in.
Contractors who complete training can progress to Forti Nova Approved Applicator status — unlocking manufacturer-backed warranties and commercial project referrals across the UK.
Hands-On Product Training
Our training programme covers practical application of Liquid Rubber and Prokol systems at our Blackburn facility. We focus on real-world installation scenarios, common failure points and correct detailing techniques — not just theory.
Training is hands-on. You'll handle the systems, use the spray equipment, practice detailing on sample substrates and learn moisture testing methodology. Suitable for merchants, contractors and installers.
All training is delivered in-person at our Blackburn base. We provide technical documentation, specification guidance and ongoing support for trained applicators. Photos and project-specific scenarios welcome — bring your real challenges.
SprayGrade Training
Cold-spray application techniques, equipment setup, output rates and programme planning for large commercial roofs.
HBS200 Detailing
Hand application for gutters, penetrations, edges and complex geometry. Detailing best practice and common failure points.
Substrate Preparation
Cleaning, degreasing, moisture testing and priming. Preparation quality determines membrane performance and warranty validity.
Specification Understanding
System selection, warranty requirements, detailing configuration and project assessment. When to overlay vs when to replace.
Training & Demos — Open to All
Whether you're a roofing contractor expanding your system offer, a company evaluating materials before committing to a supply agreement, or a specifier who wants to see these systems perform in person — we'll arrange something that works for you. No formal prerequisites. Just contact us.
Learn it. Install it. Become approved.
Hands-on spray and hand application across Liquid Rubber and Prokol systems. You'll cover equipment setup, substrate preparation, moisture testing, detailing at penetrations and upstands, and quality control checkpoints. Leave with the practical knowledge to install these systems correctly — and a clear pathway to becoming a Forti Nova Approved Applicator, giving you access to manufacturer-backed warranties and commercial project referrals.
Typical Pathway
Training → Approved Applicator Status → Project Referrals & Warranty Access
See it working before you commit.
If your company is evaluating liquid waterproofing, cladding refurbishment or fire protection systems — come to Blackburn and see them applied. We'll demo the systems relevant to your projects, walk through performance data and answer technical questions from your team. No sales pitch. If the systems fit your requirements, we'll talk supply, specification and applicator delivery. If they don't, we'll tell you.
Typical Pathway
Demo → Technical Assessment → Supply & Specification Agreement
Specify and recommend with confidence.
Understand exactly what these systems can and can't do — application limits, substrate requirements, warranty structures, fire classifications and long-term performance data. Useful for architects, surveyors, facilities managers and merchants who need to advise clients accurately, handle technical enquiries without guesswork, or coordinate commercial refurbishment programmes across multiple sites.
Typical Pathway
Technical Briefing → Specification Support → Ongoing Technical Backing
What Approved Applicator Status Means
Contractors who complete training and meet Forti Nova's installation standards can apply for Approved Applicator status. This isn't a rubber stamp — it means your work is technically supervised, your installations are eligible for manufacturer-backed warranties, and Forti Nova actively refers commercial projects to you based on location and system certifications.
Approved applicators work across healthcare, education, local authority, industrial and logistics sectors — markets where clients require documented installation credentials before awarding contracts. Training is the entry point.
