The Hot-Application Requirement

Polyurea application requires specialist heated proportioning equipment — typically a plural component reactor maintaining specific temperature and pressure ratios. This is not standard roofing equipment. Applicator training and equipment investment are significantly higher than for cold-applied systems. This is why polyurea is specified only where its performance profile justifies the application cost.
